The Gardyne St House proposes a multi-storey dwelling that positively contributes to the street and environment. It effectively uses the  attributes of the sloping site and its outlook, capturing the beautiful coastal views of Bronte Beach. It is also sustainable as it has been designed to optimise cooling and heating opportunities afforded by the site and by using green roofs and solar energy.

The overall terrain has allowed the house to be designed so that it is integrated into the landscape with minimum impact on the neighbours and public amenity. At the same time, it provides  a dwelling that can appropriately adapt to the recreation and accommodation needs of an evolving family
